Compassion Connections Group - For Parents and Babies

🌟 Introducing "Compassion Connections": Nurturing Your Wellbeing Through Connection with Others 🌟

Are you ready to embark on a transformative journey towards enhanced mental well-being, stronger relationships, and a deeper understanding of yourself through connection with other parents? Look no further than Compassion Connections, your trusted psychology group dedicated to fostering compassion and meaningful connections with other parents. Our Compassion Connections group aims to help parents connect beyond the surface level and to a deeper level with other parents. Conversations are facilitated by Dr Jane Mugadza (Clinical Psychologist) ensuring that the space is safe and non-judgmental for all.

🌼 Why Choose Compassion Connections? 🌼

  1. Expert Guidance: With years of expertise in working with groups, you can expect a safe space in which you can talk about the highs and lows of parenting with the opportunity to receive and give support to other fellow parents. Each group runs with no more than 8 parents on an initial commitment of 6 weeks, followed by a rolling commitment.

  2. Compassion as a Foundation: As a Clinical Psychologist, I firmly believe that compassion is the cornerstone of well-being and personal growth. We provide a safe space where you can explore your emotions, cultivate self-compassion, and extend it to others.

  3. Connection is Key: In a world that often feels disconnected, we emphasise the power of genuine human connection. Our group sessions encourage open dialogue, empathy, and understanding, allowing you to build meaningful relationships.

How the group runs

The group is open to parents with babies and toddlers up to approx 2 years old. Parents can bring their little one(s) as there will be soft play and baby sensory toys provided however each parent will be responsible for looking after their little ones during the group as Dr Jane will be focusing on facilitating conversations. Each group lasts 45 minutes.

PLEASE NOTE: This is not a mental health group and does not replace mental health services such as the NHS Talking therapies.
